今回は調子よくいきました。
かなり理想に近い手ごたえです。

101. The product is --- well, but the engineers are still looking for ways to improve its quality.

A) attracting
B) supplying
C) making
D) selling

論点が自動詞／他動詞だということはわかった。sellingの方が自然な気はしたが、深読みで誤答。
出そうな問題なので覚えておきたい。

137. The company's revenue last quarter exceeded --- by nearly 12 percent.

A) expect
B) expected
C) expectant
D) expectations

こちらも深読みで間違い。ただ、expectationsがなぜ複数なのかいまいちわからなかった、ということもある。
複数の予想に対してなぜ１２％という数字を持ってこれるのか、ちょっと不自然？
the expectationなら納得なのだが。

147. As a result of recent changes in federal regulations, the Department of Fisheries and Agriculture will be visiting food processing plants across the country to check whether they --- to the new laws.

A) conform
B) hope
C) obey
D) belong

これも深読み。belong to に派生的な意味があるのかなー、と期待してしまった。
conformにいまいち馴染みがなかったので。

151. Tech Chronic will continue to operate the Turbotronics and Gaxmaxter sites separately until a new, fully integrated Web site --- developed to replace the existing sites.

A) would be
B) will be
C) is
D) had been

untilから導かれる副詞節、というところがキーになるらしい。
これは難しいかも。

162. training room / classroomの読み換えに抵抗があった。正答率５割強になってるけど、個人的にこれはかなりトリッキーな部類だと思う。トレーニング＝研修という訳が想像できなかった。（よく読むとタイトルにproductivityとあるので検討がつくが。）

深読みはやっぱりあまり得策ではない。他の３つの選択肢を確信持って消せるのならそれで正解の場合もあるが。
たとえば、

A)間違い
B)間違い
C)妥当
D)？

と感じたら、大概はCが正答。
